Galaxy Exchange – Trading Policy & Terms
This Trading Policy (“Policy”) governs the use of trading services provided by Galaxy Exchange (“Galaxy Exchange,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and applies to all users, account holders, traders, and other persons accessing or using our platform (“User,” “you,” or “your”).
By creating an account, accessing the platform, depositing funds, placing an order, or otherwise using any trading service provided by Galaxy Exchange, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy and our other applicable terms and policies.
Cryptocurrency and digital-asset trading involve substantial risks, including the possibility of partial or total loss of funds. Cryptocurrency prices may be highly volatile and can change rapidly due to market conditions, liquidity, regulatory developments, technological events, and other factors.
Galaxy Exchange does not guarantee profits, returns, minimum prices, or protection against market losses. Users are solely responsible for evaluating whether cryptocurrency trading is appropriate for their financial circumstances, experience, and risk tolerance.
Users should never trade with funds they cannot afford to lose.
Each User is responsible for all activity conducted through their Galaxy Exchange account. Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information and must keep their login credentials, passwords, authentication methods, API keys, and other security information confidential.
Users must immediately notify Galaxy Exchange of any suspected unauthorized access, compromised credentials, fraudulent activity, or security incident involving their account.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, Galaxy Exchange will not be responsible for losses resulting from a User’s failure to maintain adequate account security or from the User voluntarily sharing account credentials or security information with another person.
Users must satisfy all eligibility requirements applicable to the Galaxy Exchange services they use. Galaxy Exchange may require identity verification, know-your-customer (“KYC”), anti-money-laundering (“AML”), sanctions screening, source-of-funds information, or other compliance information.
Galaxy Exchange may refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, regulatory requirements, risk controls, or internal compliance procedures.
Users must not use Galaxy Exchange for unlawful activities, fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, market manipulation, sanctions evasion, or any other prohibited activity.
Users are solely responsible for reviewing the details of an order before submitting it, including the cryptocurrency, trading pair, order type, quantity, price, applicable fees, and other relevant information.
Once an order has been submitted, its cancellation or modification may not be possible. Orders may be executed in whole or in part depending on available liquidity and market conditions.
Galaxy Exchange does not guarantee that an order will be executed at a particular price or within a particular period.
Users acknowledge that market prices may change between the time an order is entered, processed, matched, and settled.
Galaxy Exchange may charge trading fees, withdrawal fees, network fees, conversion fees, or other applicable charges.
Applicable fees will be disclosed through the platform or relevant service documentation and may be changed from time to time in accordance with applicable law.
Users are responsible for reviewing applicable fees before completing a transaction.
Users acknowledge that digital-asset markets can experience extreme volatility, price gaps, reduced liquidity, trading interruptions, and rapid changes in market conditions.
Galaxy Exchange shall not be responsible for losses arising solely from ordinary market movements, volatility, slippage, liquidity limitations, or changes in the market value of digital assets, except to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Past performance, historical prices, market information, or any information displayed on the platform should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future performance.
Galaxy Exchange will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and functionality of its platform. However, uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
Services may become temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, cybersecurity incidents, blockchain congestion, network failures, third-party service interruptions, technical problems, regulatory requirements, extraordinary market conditions, or events beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
Where reasonably possible, Galaxy Exchange may provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance or service interruptions.
Digital assets may depend on blockchain networks and third-party infrastructure that Galaxy Exchange does not control.
Blockchain transactions may be irreversible and may be affected by network congestion, protocol changes, forks, technical failures, transaction delays, incorrect addresses, or other network-related events.
Users are responsible for ensuring that wallet addresses, networks, and transaction details are correct before initiating a transfer.
Galaxy Exchange cannot guarantee the availability, functionality, security, or future development of any external blockchain network or digital asset.
Users must not engage in activities intended to manipulate markets or interfere with the orderly operation of Galaxy Exchange.
Prohibited conduct may include, where applicable:
Market manipulation or attempted manipulation;
Wash trading or fictitious transactions;
Fraudulent activity;
Unauthorized use of another person’s account;
Use of stolen or unlawfully obtained funds;
Circumvention of account restrictions;
Exploitation of technical vulnerabilities;
Use of bots or automated systems in violation of platform rules;
Activities intended to disrupt the platform or its infrastructure; and
Any activity prohibited by applicable law or regulation.
Galaxy Exchange may investigate suspected violations and may take appropriate action, including cancellation or restriction of orders, account suspension, asset restrictions, or termination, subject to applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Galaxy Exchange, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings arising from or relating to the use of the platform or cryptocurrency trading.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, or other circumstances where such limitation is prohibited.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Galaxy Exchange and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, and representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from:
1. Your violation of this Policy or other applicable Galaxy Exchange terms;
2. Your unlawful or fraudulent conduct;
3. Your misuse of the platform;
4. Your violation of another person’s rights; or
5. Your breach of applicable laws or regulations.
This provision does not apply to the extent that the relevant claim results from conduct for which the Company cannot legally require indemnification.
Users are encouraged to contact Galaxy Exchange customer support first to attempt to resolve any complaint or dispute informally.
Where permitted by applicable law, disputes that cannot be resolved through customer support shall be handled according to the dispute-resolution procedure, governing law, jurisdiction, arbitration provisions, or other mechanisms specified in the Company’s applicable Terms of Service.
Nothing in this Policy prevents a User from exercising rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
Information provided through Galaxy Exchange, including market data, educational materials, charts, statistics, news, or other content, is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice.
Users should obtain independent professional advice where appropriate before making trading or investment decisions.
Galaxy Exchange may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to an account when reasonably necessary to protect the platform, its users, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, investigate suspected misconduct, address security concerns, or enforce applicable terms.
Where permitted by law, Galaxy Exchange may delay transactions or restrict withdrawals while conducting security, fraud, compliance, or legal reviews.
Galaxy Exchange may update or modify this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, technology, security requirements, business practices, or applicable laws and regulations.
The updated Policy will become effective on the date specified in the revised version unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Continued use of Galaxy Exchange after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision of this Policy is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, where legally permitted. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
This Policy should be read together with Galaxy Exchange’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, AML/KYC Policy, Risk Disclosure, Fee Schedule, and other applicable platform policies.
In the event of a conflict between this Policy and a mandatory provision of applicable law, the mandatory legal provision shall prevail.
By using Galaxy Exchange, you acknowledge that you understand the risks associated with cryptocurrency and digital-asset trading and that you are responsible for your own trading decisions.
You agree that you will not rely on Galaxy Exchange, its promoters, employees, affiliates, or representatives for personalized investment advice or guarantees of profit.
You further acknowledge that cryptocurrency trading is undertaken at your own risk, subject always to the rights and protections provided by applicable law.
